NeoCon 2012 showcased Act Natural, highlighting Interface’s product Urban Retreat. The product incorporates learnings from biophilia (literally: love of nature) to biomimicry – the “head and heart” of our connection to the natural world. Urban retreat bridges the gap between natural and urban environments by evoking the quiet sanctuary of an old-growth forest floor all the way down to the lichen-covered stone. This message grows organically across every touch point of the 2011 NeoCon showroom and product launch.
